Design Intern

Position Overview

Haricot Vert is a Brooklyn-based jewelry and craft brand that exists between fantasy and function—blending a vibrant digital presence with immersive, hands-on retail experiences. Rooted in storytelling, collage, and creation, Haricot Vert invites curiosity through objects, workshops, installations, and community-driven experiences.

We are currently seeking a Design Intern to join our team for Fall 2026.

This role will work closely alongside the Founder, Community Manager & Digital Marketing Coordinator supporting both digital marketing initiatives and hands-on creative projects within the Haricot Vert atelier. We are looking for someone who is highly creative, eager to learn, quick-moving, detail-oriented, and excited to spend the summer immersed in a design-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for aesthetics, enjoys working with their hands, and thrives in spaces where digital storytelling and physical creation intersect.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Atelier Support

  • Assist with the creation of jewelry, soft goods, installations, and other creative atelier projects

  • Support sewing-based projects requiring both hand sewing and machine sewing

  • Help organize and maintain creative materials, atelier inventory, and workspaces

  • Assist in preparing products, displays, and installations for launches, workshops, and events

Digital Marketing + Content

  • Support social media content creation across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms

  • Assist with photographing, filming, editing, and organizing visual content

  • Help create graphics, flyers, newsletters, and marketing assets

  • Participate in brainstorming campaigns, activations, and storytelling concepts

Brand + Community Support

  • Assist during events, workshops, and community activations

  • Support broader creative and operational needs as they arise

  • Work collaboratively with the Founder, Community Team, and Creative Team on ongoing projects

We’re Looking For Someone:

  • Proficient in both hand sewing and machine sewing

  • Strong eye for design, styling, and visual storytelling

  • Quick, adaptable, and proactive

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, creatively driven environment

  • Loves working with both digital and physical mediums

  • Deeply organized and detail-oriented

  • Excited by fashion, craft, collage, jewelry, and handmade objects

  • Eager to learn and contribute thoughtfully to a small creative team

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Art, Fashion, Design, Marketing, or a related field

  • Must be able to work in-person in Brooklyn at least 2 days per week

  • Experience with sewing required

  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Suite, Shopify, or social platforms is a plus

  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • A genuine love for creativity and community

Studio Intern

Position Overview: Haricot Vert is a vibrant and innovative jewelry and craft brand that blends a dynamic online presence with a hands-on experiential storefront. We’re dedicated to crafting immersive experiences that captivate our community both online and offline. 

As a rapidly growing creative community, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern at our Dreamworld storefront and production studio in Brooklyn, New York. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both retail and production operations and to learn about the inner-workings of a small business committed to eco-responsibility and sustainable production. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced small business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Studio Support:

    • Assist with maintaining, preparing and organizing the production studio to ensure a clean, functional, and efficient workspace 

    • Help prepare and pack customer orders with precision and care

    • Organize inventory and production tools to optimize workflow

    • Assist with creating craft kits, assembling jewelry setups, and making Picto-Charms™

  2. Dreamworld & CraftNook Support:

    • Support the cleaning and organization of the Dreamworld store and CraftNook to create a welcoming environment for customers

    • Assist in the planning and execution of CraftNook programs by maintaining and preparing the space for regularly scheduled workshops and special events

What You’ll Gain:

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Art, Design, Business, or a related discipline)

  • Must be able to work in-person at least 2 days per week (Monday-Friday) - candidates with flexible availability are preferred

  • Passion for creativity, organization, and attention to detail

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting

  • An active self-starter, with  willingness to take on various tasks

  • A love for crafting and jewelry
