Open Position: Personal Assistant


Haricot Vert is a dynamic jewelry company, known for pushing the boundaries in jewelry design & crafts. We are seeking a highly organized and creatively inclined Personal Assistant to support our Creative Director in delivering cutting-edge projects and maintaining seamless day-to-day operations.

As the Personal Assistant to the Creative Director / Founder of Haricot Vert, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the creative process and ensuring the smooth execution of various projects. This position requires a blend of administrative prowess and creative flair, ideal for someone passionate about design, fashion, and the creative arts...you will learn a lot!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:

    • Manage the Creative Director’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
    • Handle email correspondence, phone calls, and other communication on behalf of the Creative Director.
    • Organize and maintain files, documents, and creative assets.
  • Creative Assistance:

    • Assist in brainstorming sessions, concept development, and idea tracking.
    • Provide support in graphic design tasks, including creating mockups, presentations, and visual materials.
    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
    • Assist in the prototyping of jewelry, including sketching designs, selecting materials, and creating prototypes.
    • Utilize collage techniques to develop unique and compelling visual content.
    • Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Project Coordination:

    • Coordinate and communicate with various departments and external partners to facilitate project progress.
    • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
    • Assist in preparing and reviewing creative briefs, proposals, and reports.
  • Event and Meeting Planning:

    • Organize and coordinate meetings, workshops, and events related to creative projects.
    • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items from meetings.
  • Research and Trend Analysis:

    • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to provide insights and inspiration.
    • Compile and present findings to the Creative Director and the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, preferably in a creative, fashion or design environment.
  • Ability to sew & construct garments 
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.

Compensation: $20 an hour ($18 an hour for first month trial period)

Job type: Part-time or full-time (flexible), offering hourly wage, must undergo a 1 month trial period.
